Signature on my Instagram Photos

Hello Lovelies!!

So a lot of you guys have been asking me about the signature that I have recently started uploading on my Instagram pictures. I got my signature done from a website called Photologo – So they claim that every signature is individually drawn by hand by professional calligraphy artists. They charge $39.99 Per Handcrafted Boutique Design for desktop and mobile applying will be included.

Ordering a photologo can be quite simple which includes only 3 steps:

  1. Choose how thick do you want your photologo to be? & how curly do you want your Photologo?
  2. What would you like your signature to say? & Do you want a short tagline underneath your signature?
  3. How soon do you want your handwritten photologo? – If you want your photologo within 24 hours you would have to pay 49.99$, 39.99$ for within 48 hours, & 38.99$ for within 7 days.

This is how my photologo looks like:

Hope this post has helped!

LISBON – Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. Rephrase: Portugal’s hilly Gorgeous and absolutely mesmerizing capital city!

Portugal was our last stop in our Europe tour last summer & I can easily say that Lisbon was my most favorite capital city. I am most certain that I would definitely go back to this beautiful city, In Sha Allah! So after Amsterdam, it was time for us to head toward Lisbon, Portugal. So we touched down in Lisbon. Supremely excited. Waited for our luggage. Made some friends while we waited for our luggage. Said our Hi’s and goodbye’s to our newly acquired friends. Hopped on to a bus which took us right outside our hotel in Saldanha.

We were staying at the Evolution Lisboa – a hotel with modern decor, Rooms with lights & curtains that could be controlled through the hotel’s own smartphone app, open-plan bathrooms, super friendly staff & Rated 9/10 by

Pictures from

Fayu was really impressed by the friendly staff and the quirkiness of the hotel that he wanted to go back to Doha and write a review about the hotel – For those of you who dont know Fayu, he is my husband and he would never write a review about anything in this whole wide world. So for him to even think of writing a review is something I consider to be MAJOR.  Moving on, we were extremely hungry and could easy eat an elephant so after we dropped our bags we decided to take the metro & head towards Restauradores square.

Lisbon is hilly city as I mentioned earlier, we took a tram-like lift that carried us from the Restauradores square all the way up to São Pedro de Alcântara Belvedere. From there, you can go into the quirky and charming neighborhood –  Bairro Alto.

BAIRO ALTO – This neighborhood of Lisbon has character. You get to see a lot of diversity here, restaurants, Fado houses, bars, pubs and Cafés as well as stores to shop are all around the streets, lanes and alleys. The most interesting fact of this place is that during the day this place looks really busy with a lot of locals and few tourists. In the night, everything changes – Restaurants, Bars and shops, that stay open until late at night, are full of tourists and people of all ages. Bairro Alto promises an enjoyable night to its visitors. In Portugal streets are known as Rua, some of the main streets in Bairro Alto are Rua da Rosa & Rua do Norte.

Our next stop was Alfama – this neighborhood has a gorgeous view of the city also the St George castle is located here. The best way to discover this gorgeous part of the city is by foot but then, Alfama remains incomplete without a ride on Tram 28. The Alfama portion of the tram ride stops at important sites such as the Castle of St. George, The Cathedral, and Church of St. Antonio as well as viewpoints such as Miraduoro das Portas do Sol and Miraduoro de Santa

View from Alfama

Our next stop was Castelo de Sao Jorge, an ancient Moorish castle that stands above central Lisbon overlooking River Tagus and city of Lisbon. This castle dates over 400 years and is one of the major tourist spots.

Kicking away all the bad vibes

Because Portugal won the Euro Cup that month :p

After lingering around in Alfama we then decided to head back to our hotel but, not before trying the famous ‘pastel de nata’ also known as Pastel de Belém or queijadas de nata (depends on where you’re buying the pastel from) – a Portuguese egg tart pastry dessert. These tarts are absolutely delicious thin and flaky on the outside and warm custard like on the inside.

Drooooooooooooooooooooool 😀

So that’s it from me for today folks! Part 2 of this post will be up sooon!

Until next time!

I am Obsessed!

Hey guys!

I know I have been MIA for a few days and I have a very good reason for it too. I have been watching this Turkish TV Series called – Ask Laftan Anlamaz (Love is not understood by words).

The leading pair in this series are like drop dead gorgeous. I just can’t get enough of them. I mean Just look at them they are so good looking it’s frustrating & it’s NOT fair.

So this series is Light, funny, fresh & Romantic. Hayat Uzun originally from a small Province called Giserun and comes to Istanbul and starts working for Murat. They begin to fall in love but there are mysteries that Hayat holds – Honestly I don’t wanna say anything more & ruin the plot for you guys! This series has 31 episodes, the beginning was real fun but the like any other series this one also began to get a little draggy by the end. They could have shortened the series (but i think this show kept running for the fans) Draggy or not if you are a Romantic Buff like me do not miss out on this series.

I watched it online with English subtitles.  Do watch it and let me know if you like it too?

Until next time 🙂

The Best Advice

When I was in my teens a very smart woman gave me a very good advice that I wish to share with you today.

She told me ‘Shahla an advice I want to give you in life is to never take success for granted and do not lose hope because of failures’  This was the best advice I could get as I was growing up. Yes Success is great but, not letting it get to your head is the most important thing. If your successful be kind be humble. On the other hand failure is greater because it is a great teacher, it teaches you to stand up again when you fall. Failure is not the end but an opportunity to learn.

Don’t worry guys! I’ve not turned into a philosopher YET, I just wanted to share this with you. Also I would appreciate if you guys could share some of the advice you got in life. Drop your comments down below or on my Instagram messages (Instagram : Shelo_27)

Looking forward to hearing from you!

March Goals!

Wow! Its the third month of 2017 already you guys! Its been C-R-A-Z-Y so far, the last two month just flew for me. I must say it was quite productive for me wherein I got to do & learn a lot of new things. Also I completed 1 month of blogging – ‘Happy 1 month anniversary to me‘ (Yayyyyyyyy!!!!)

I’ve been doing my homework before I started blogging & saw a lot of bloggers who kept setting goals for themselves, setting up goals is a great way to keep you going & also achieving all that you wish for one step at a time. Since childhood, I must say I’ve been AMAZING at setting goals – but HORRIBLE at achieving them! Hence, today I’ll be doing a Goals Post for the month of March. Why a goals post? So that I’ll be under pressure to achieve them & not be a bad example to my readers. But before that, you need to know what happened in the first two months this year;

My January & February Goals were:

Offer help at my brother’s wedding (I was the “unofficial” event manager there)

Start a blog (I did! Had to gather a lot of courage for this one)

Start a physical activity (Started Swimming)

Design your own clothes for your brother’s wedding (Yes I did it! I’ll be blogging about the wedding & the clothes obviously!!)

Read more (I read a lot of useful blogs)

Start learning a new language (Did not happen)

My March Goals are:

Upload a turban tutorial

Show up to work on time (Guys I Promise you I get late because of traffic – EVERYDAY!! AARGGGHHH)

Swim thrice a week

Set a weekly budget for me (and try not to fall into the trap of buying another pair of those gorgeous shoes)

Help my cousins during their exam

Write a minimum of 2 blog posts a week

Get my blog posts ready for a week in advance

Drink more water

What are your March goals guys? – Comment below and let me know 🙂

Take care beautiful people!

Well helllooooo there! Look who has finally decided to start a blog.. I always wanted to start a food & a makeup blog and a travel blog and a professional blog aandd a business blog aaanndd many other blogs. Now if you ask me what have I finally decided to write on my blog I’d say I’ve decided to write everything from baking a cake to dealing with your girlfriend to movie reviews to what a big douche the latest most powerful man in the world is (he-who-must-not-be-named) and also what to wear at your brother’s wedding. I think that pretty much sums it up.

So who am I ?

I am Shahla aka Shelo your GirlFromKasargod. I was born in Mumbai and always thought of myself as a Mumbaikar until we moved to this beautiful district of Kasargod. Kasargod is a district in Kerala as most of you would know and it has one of the best Cashew nut juice, excellent Kulukki Sarbath and guys with bold choice of clothes & hair (let’s not get into more details – things might get ugly).

I live in Qatar and work for a boring company. My life is pretty boring except for the fact that I am married to my darling. My Love.

Well enough about me. You guys tell me what do you want me to write about? What do you guys find interesting ??  Let me know and I can put my viewssss out there for you to read, although my views would not matter but it’s always fun reading content that makes you roll your eyes (stop rolling em eyes naaaawwww)

Anywho! Guys show me some support and encourage this young lady to write more and try to keep you entertained.

See you later. Alligator.
